Dawn, I want to thank you for all the ways you supported me throughout the process of selling my house. This was a huge project for me and the undertaking of it at this time in my life was frankly a bit daunting. I so appreciated your help in preparing my home, so it was ready to sell. The pictures you had taken were stunning and the only unfortunate thing (for me) was the fact that it sold in four days and my new home was not quite ready. I would feel confident recommending you to anyone who wanted to feel well taken care of whether selling and/or buying.
We came to Arizona looking for a home near Flagstaff. That attempt failed and I panicked knowing I only had a few days to find a home. After visiting for a couple of days we decided that we would try to find a home in the Anthem area. It was now hours before our return flight to California. We got in touch with Dawn through a listing and man did she go to work! She is a professional as well as warm and caring. I’ve never seen a more aggressive outgoing agent. When Dawn takes you on as a client her ultimate goal is customer satisfaction. We had to leave before we found the perfect home but she kept working, and the next day she had listings for us and set out to video properties. She found us a wonderful home and worked with the other agent and owner to secure it for us. She was there for us when we walked in the front door and walked us through the home to make sure we were happy with this choice. About a week after we had moved in, issues came up with the owner, and just when other agents would have walked and left you hanging, our “bull dog” went to work. She demanded the owner take responsibility for his property and be on the up and up with us. She will not let you down. I have never been more satisfied with an agent in my life. You’re the best Dawn!!
My recommendation: Dawn was a great realtor to work with. She went the extra mile for us when selling our home from out of state. She went to the property a number of times to deal with things that due to distance we were unable to do. Our home sold extremely fast and it sold for ABOVE our asking price! I couldn't have asked for a better experience in selling our home than the experience we had with Dawn.

This is a shout out for Dawn DeFord- The best realtor we know in Arizona. Recently my mother decided to sell her home in northwest Phoenix and move to Portland, Oregon. After asking around we received a glowing recommendation from a family friend to call Dawn. Dawn and I met and after a 20-minute conversation the decision was made. Based on this interview it was clear that Dawn was professional, an expert in her field, and had numerous successes selling homes at or above current market prices. We had many roadblocks selling an older home and every obstacle we encountered, Dawn had at least 5 professionals that were willing to give us free estimates. Selling a home can be stressful however our experience with Dawn was smooth and the home sold in less than 2 weeks at asking price. I can go on and on about Dawn’s commitment to selling a house, for example: the professional pictures she had her team take of the home, her involvement every step of the process to ensure that were informed of offers, a website that let us see when the showing appointments were scheduled, and her overall demeanor and availability. I recently closed a deal in selling a home I owned in the Phoenix metro area after moving to Prescott. Dawn DeFord was my agent. She went above and beyond to help with this sale. After she did the comps of recently sold homes in the area, she decided on an asking price which I thought might have been high. Within hours of the house going on the market there were three offers. Dawn kept me informed at all stages of this process and after accepting one of the offers which was way over the asking price, she advertised it at. Dawn immediately began the process of the sale. Dawn kept me informed and sent me anything I needed to sign electronically. After everything was set, she drove to Prescott to be present at the signing, which was not a requirement, but she wanted to make sure I understood everything I was signing. The fact she was willing to drive 200 miles to be present at the signing says a lot about her work ethic. I would recommend her to anyone buying or selling property.
Dawn is absolutely the best! She is wonderful to work with. She really cares and goes above and beyond. She was thorough and professional. Plus, she stayed on top of the communication, and we knew she had our best interest at heart when negotiating. She was a true advocate and exceeded our expectations when selling our house.
